A Clearer Path to Resolution

Jennifer L. Gray, accredited mediator, delivers a clear, compassionate process to resolve family, insurance, community and workplace disputes.

Our Approach

  • Neutral and Respectful

Jennifer acts as an independent neutral, giving each party an equal opportunity to be heard and contribute to the resolution process. Jennifer encourages creative solutions tailored to meet the individual needs of the parties. Mediation sessions are structured to facilitate productive discussions, particularly when previous negotiations have failed due to high conflict disputes. All mediation sessions are confidential.

  • Legally Informed

As a neutral mediator, Jennifer does not offer either party legal advice. Parties are encouraged to seek independent legal advice as and when needed throughout the mediation process. However, as a lawyer-mediator with experience in family law, high conflict dynamics, personal injury and insurance claims, Jennifer is live to the legal issues at stake, can provide basic legal information and parties can rely on her years of experience working through all stages of a lawsuit for guidance.

  • Clear and Structured

A step-by-step process: individual intake and screening, an agreement to mediate, a defined agenda, joint and private (“shuttle”) discussions where helpful, and written terms with next steps. You’ll know what to expect at every stage.

  • Flexible Formats

Mediation is available virtually (secure video) or in person. Half-day or full-day bookings, with the option of shuttle mediation for sensitive matters.

  • Local and Mobile

In person across the Fraser Valley and Greater Vancouver, and by arrangement in Merritt, Kamloops, Salmon Arm, Vernon, and nearby rural communities. Virtual mediation is available anywhere in BC.

“I’ve worked with Jennifer both as opposing counsel and in mediations. As a mediator, she is balanced, engaged, and highly effective. Her ability to understand the issues and to guide the process with professionalism and fairness makes the mediation smooth and productive.”
